So I really don’t have anything to add to the recipe that has already been created, so I am just going to link to it here. Let me tell you… they are DELICIOUS. Oh my goodness. I can’t stop eating them. I keep adding them to my meals in place of a cookie or something sweet. I think I will try using honey next time instead of corn syrup as I think it would make them a bit healthier.
The original creator cut her bars a bit longer than mine. I was able to get 18 bars out of my pan and I think she got 12. I’d also suggest leaving it the freezer for maybe 2 hours. Mine were still pretty soft and fell apart a bit when cutting.
Here is the nutritional information. It may not be perfect but it’s a good estimate and is for a smaller bar like mine:
Saturated fat: 1.8
Monounsaturated fat: 2
Cholesterol: 0 (yay!)
